I have been to this location a few times now hoping the service would improve. Everytime I walk in the Employees make me feel as if I am a burden. There has yet to be a feeling of being welcome. Today was my longest wait by the door waiting to be seated (10 minutes). I watched 3 employees sitting at once while I waited by the door. There were maybe 17 customers in the establishment at this time. No reason for the service Id have everytime besides just laziness.

Great food at a great price, some days are busier than others but worth the wait

Only two waitresses, and one of them was pretty much lounging while the other frantically tried to keep pace. She managed to do very well despite juggling nearly every table in the store. When we ordered to-go shakes at the counter,. The shakes were made and sat on the counter for 10-15 minutes while we waited up front. Hard to blame the staff though given how chaotic it was. Severely understaffed. Would not go here except at times you know they won't be busy.

I have never been to Steak and shake and felt more comfortable. It didn't feel like I was a fast food restaurant. Kevin the manager was very accommodating to making the sandwich to my specifications. We initially ordered our meal to go but decided to stay. They didn't think anything of just fixing our food too stay. We were very well taken care of.
