Great little pub with a good selection of cask ales and ciders. Constantly varying the ales they have on offer at the bar, so you can go in one week and have a completely different experience than the week before.
Excellent local. No tv or blaring music; definitely a place to enjoy a few drinks and each other's company.
Husband and wife who own the pub are very friendly and great at giving recommendations on all the different drinks on offer.

Great pub, loads of beers really well kept. Bar games, darts and a great atmosphere. Just got to get there whilst it's open lol

Easy to find on Queens Drive
Very little traffic noise considering the location
Board games available
Beer served in oversized glasses, so a full pint and a head
Plenty of beer memorabilia from your childhood, that you'll remember with nostalgia
Two pint carry outs available at only +10p on beer price
Small range of continental bottled beers available
Wine available by glass or the bottle
Toilets are spotlessly clean
Plus a great chip shop next door

None at all, apart from it closes at 21:30.

Go, have a conversation for a change. Great little quirky venue, you'll love it.
Shout out goodbye or goodnight as you leave and be shocked as the whole place responds to you. Lovely unique atmosphere.

Now pub of the year, for the second consecutive year!

A fantastic micro pub, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. It won Liverpool CAMRA Pub of the Year 2016 & 2017 and you can see why, as for a such small pub it packs in a lot of character. Its decorated with brewing memorabilia and a model railway track that circles the room to let you know when they have changed a beer. Highly recommended, although be aware that as it is a micro pub it can get packed quite quickly.
