Discriminated against for being a smoker. Bouncer was just doing his job but looked he couldn't be bothered and so when we went for a cigarette we were told we were not getting back in. It amazed me that he wouldn't let it's back in but there were still people inside who couldn't stand. If I wasn't a smoker I could have been there all night.

They have a Scottish band and teach you (as a group) traditional Scottish dances. Dinner was good, I had stuffed chicken. Worth a visit!

Not sure my rib eye was a rib eye
Average Ginsters pasty in bed of brown sauce microwaved to perfection, complemented the thermonuclear dry chicken black pudding, capped with a filo pastry fedora.
The question remains - when is a pie not a pie.
The staff were amazingly attentive and friendly.

Went to a Friday night ceilidh while on vacation in Edinburgh and had a marvelous time. The three-course meal was a wonderful sampling of traditional Scottish fare, the whisky selection is very good (though connoisseurs of Scotch may find it limited relative to other places in the city), and the traditional Scottish dances we learned were such fun. I noticed a lot of locals here, which I think is a testament to its being more authentic than usual tourist kitsch.

Wonderful experience of a typical Scottish Ceilidh with delicious food and exciting dances in the upstairs ball room. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself is an amazing place to be seen. Can't wait to go again!
