We had a wonderful lunch here today. We just happened to stumble upon the restaurant while trying to avoid the Saturday shopping crowd.
We thought the fish was lovely and honestly, we were served vegetables simply cooked for the firdt time in several days in Germany.
The service was relaxed but always curtious.

What a culinary delight! I received a warm and friendly welcome from Marco, who not only served me, but recommended the symphony of flavors that graced my table. His dinner and dessert recommendations, as well as wine pairings left nothing to be desired, except perhaps the ability to eat more. The beef checks were so tender I cut them with my fork, and so delicately sweet they melted in my mouth, it was perfectly paired with parsnip puree and a red wine. My dessert, Geeistes Musli, was both a masterpiece to behold, and a joy to taste, again perfectly paired, this time with a honey wine. I left full and contented. I will absolutely make the time to return to this treasure of Munich.

A pretty, low-ceilinged space with gentle, efficient, service. The kitchen here applies updated culinary techniques and plating to classic Bavarian food. Flavor-wise, it's hit or miss (more hits to be fair) with an added disappointment of very small portions. We took out-of-town guests here for a special "white tablecloth" meal and did not leave wow'd despite the hefty bill. While overall a fine experience, it's probably a restaurant best left for the expense account set where conversation can distract from the pitfalls.

Food, service, and atmosphere is fantastic. Best cod I have ever eaten. Quiet relaxing classy place with great servers and wonderful food.
