A wonderful small park or garden right between the parliament and the royal library. Most often it is vey quiet and perfect for a short break from your shopping or sightseeing tour through the city. I highly recommend this place

Personally this is one of my favourite places in Copenhagen. Not only is it a bit secluded but it's also beautiful. The old library facade is full of ivy or some other climbing plant and also well maintained giving it a stunning effect. In summer there are tons of people who enjoy the outdoor bar nearby and the fountains in the square. However - and that is the only minus - there are 4 Pokemon stops attracting lots of children who are then running around like crazy. If you're into that you're perfectly fine there however after some time it does get a bit annoying...

This is such an excellent hidden little gem that perhaps it shouldn't be mentioned. But please go there and respect the relaxing atmosphere.

The best kept secret garden in Copenhagen. Located right behind parliament you are surrounded by buildings that are several hundred years old and the place reeks of history.
But please - keep the location to yourself. ;-)

Well designed outdoor landscaped courtyard. Plenty of pedestrians, mainly family's casually walking through. Coffee cart previous to library entrance. Special exhibits hosted by library on occasion. No public restrooms.
