Hi there
Having recently visited the Fairfield for food with my wife at 7pm we were told there was an hour wait we still ordered after 1/2 hour a member of staff came over and told me that what I ordered was not available ( the Yorkshire stack) so I ordered a 8oz stake then my starter arived breaded mushrooms and a small pot of barbecue sause (not given a choice would have liked garlic ) in a small enamel dish which was chipped also the breaded mushrooms were like bullets could not stick fork in a little bit of garnish would been nice, when the main arrived it was cold, had to fetch my own sauses, my wife's enjoyed her sheppard less pie

Awful place. Food came out eggs were partly raw sent it back for the same eggs to come back after being recooked and drown in oil. Peas are the equivalent to small grenades. Sent it back again and got bad customer service and my food whipped away. Stay away at all costs. Ps the only reason i have rated it one star is because they have a table and chairs.

Excellent food great pub to have food in good for birthday meal as staff make a lot of effort
