Decidedly underwhelming. The staff were lovely but the food was below par. Soft & soggy chips, inedible onion rings, pathetic attempt at a "New York" style burger. I couldn't bring myself to finish any of it. Despite not having had a meal for 11 hours. This place is one to avoid. There are loads better within 5 minutes of Albert Dock.

First visit. Enjoyed excellent service, Had a Lovely time. Staff are friendly. Surely one of the best bar & restaurant.

the venue itself is a nice place to eat and is comfortable and relaxed. But the food is not worth going for.

We went there for a weekday lunch, particularly the 2 for 1 hot sandwiches offer which they have prominently displayed on their menu board outside, and on a banner above the door. On ordering, we were told that they weren't doing this deal at the moment as it's half term. the signs have no indication that there are any such restrictions on the offer - signs state its available mon-fri before 5pm.

having already sat down, we went ahead and ordered the lunch anyway. we both had the hog roast sandwiches. very disappointing, nothing at all like a hog roast should be. this was 2 thin fatty pork chops on a roll, rather than the tender shredded meat you would normally expect. the rolls were dry, and the fries overcooked and oily. no dessert menu was available.

it's not somewhere we would return to for food. there are much better options nearby for lunch.

A lonely meal for one while on business. Friendly staff, attentive and leave you to eat in peace. Amstel on draught which was nice. The haddock risotto starter was pleasant, just lacking a bit of seasoning. The gourmet burger for main did exactly what it said on the tin. All in all a pleasant place to eat alone or with friends. I would eat here again.
