No gas when we called, so very limited menu. We were served by a very young lady who was quite excellent and would be very good management material !!

Food was good when we eventually got it. Bad service with bad manager not worthy of name. Empty tables we couldn't sit at for most of night. Lots of complaints heard.

The best for a breakfast of your choice. Continental or good old English! Eat as much as you want and if an adult pays three children eat free!

My friend are steak, I had pie.
Nothing wrong with it. Not so sure my friend enjoyed her steak as much as I enjoyed my pie.... I had the chicken one...
No points for extra love or originality and the dessert and coffee were good.
The service was very hotelly, distant, a little boring and uninterested.
Out on the terrace there sad a dog bowl filled with fresh water. And Sean the Harp rather enjoyed the outside and his string being replaced. He rang a few songs and made a few friends...

This has got to be the worst service I have experienced in a restaurant for quite a considerable time.
I initially presented myself at the bar to buy a drink. There was one other person stood at the bar who was being served.
I counted 6 members of staff who totally ignored me , chatting, putting glasses away from the dishwasher or completely blanking me, the member of staff who was serving the other customer then served me when he had finished serving the other customer.
Then came the food ordering. I ordered my food but had to clear, wipe and reset my own table, I had to collect my own condiments and cutlery.
The main course arrived and to be fair was OK. I then waited over 45 minutes before anyone approached my table to enquire if I wanted anything else.
All this on a day when the place was at most 50% full so I dread to think what it will be like on a "busy" night.
Not recommended but maybe they rely on the captive audience from the attached hotel (like me).
