Restaurant und Biergarten am Chinesischen Turm

I had the Käsespätzle and an Avocado salad: The Spätzle were far too salty and not very cheesy. The little bowl of avocado salad cost me 7€ and tasted horrible: It contained bell peppers that were obviously from the can and it had a disgusting aftertaste.

My recommendation: Stick to the beer.

A walk through the English Gardens was rewarded with a great beer and refreshments at this beer garden. Nice outdoor setting and atmosphere.

Nice spot right in the middle of the Englischer Garten. Good food, though the fries were cold and it's a bit pricey. Listening to the band is nice though!

This is a classic beergarden. Easily accessible when strolling in the English garden. It is self service, though there is a restaurant that is open limited daytime hours. You get a token with your beer, and receive your deposit back when you return the stein.
The food is cafeteria style, and is fairly hearty. In otherwords, there is something for everyone.
Enjoy the good ambiance under the chestnut trees or the pagoda style tower.
When they ring the cowbells, it means there is rain on the way.
