Dachten hier een klein hapje te gaan eten, maar verbaast door de hoge prijzen, uiteindelijk bij een lasagne belandt, zowat het enigste onder de 20 EUR. Tafel dekken wordt hier niet gedaan - gewoon bestek en een papieren servet op een schaaltje. Prijzen van een chique restaurant maar bediening en eten van een brasserie. Mooi interieur en terras ...

Super lekker eten, heel vriendelijke bediening, fantastische uitbaters, keigezellige omkadering met een heerlijk terras. Één van mij lievelingsplekken op een fantastische locatie rustig in het groen ❤️

Extremely expensive for what is on offer - tea, coffee, a brandy and an apple tart (well presented but small) - for the extortionate price of EUR€27. The garden terrace to the rear is not well kept. It was dull, damp and over grown with weeds. The wooden table and chairs were mossy and stained and the chairs unstable. Although the staff were friendly the location seems to have suffered from a lack of care and / or investment. Astonishingly, "Napoleon's Bed" rather than being a centrepiece, is simply stuffed in an upstairs corner and neglected. The appeal of this property was what I had heard about the food and location and of course the interest in the alleged historic visit of Napoleon. The experience delivered on none of the above - expensive, run down and ignoring its main selling point for tourists and locals. Disappointing.
