Very poor quality gluten free pizza for our son. The smoked haddock risotto contained very little fish and had no poached egg on top, as described in the menu. The apple, blackcurrant and rhubarb crumble was just rhubarb. Poor quality beef for the money in the Sunday roast. Service was OK.

Lovely surroundings. Very attentive, friendly staff. Excellent food and service. A little gem in Rothwell.

Just moved to the area and had been looking forward to trying Salute but having trouble just getting a booking cos they're always booked up, which is a good sign.

When we did finally manage to get in we weren't disappointed. All of the food excellent, and the portions very generous. Service was excellent and staff very friendly.

There was a mixup with our order which meant it was delayed by 10 minutes (not sure we'd have noticed if we weren't told) and by way of an apology we were given a free round of drinks and then also 25% off the bill! Very good customer service.

All in all, impressed. My only personal gripe would be that their draught beer selection isn't great, but my partner was very happy with the wine on offer so I guess that's a win for her.

It is very nice place and have good meal. You can choose gluten free if you need and special for kids. Everyone was welcomed. Place is always busy. I will come back soon. Bo
