Ended here on a Thursday night to celebrate my boyfriends new job. Wasn't quiet for a Thursday night, but not overly busy. The atmosphere was fun and bubbly. We went for the £25 for 3 plates and a bottle of wine. Luckily they got the wrong order so we ended up with four plates with no extra cost or delay to our meal. Staff were lovely and i would recommend trying that deal.

Nice bar, but always busy, and the staff often aren't the quickest servers in the world. Is actually more fun as a place to meet in the afternoon or early evening for a drink and a quick bite to eat, rather than in the evening, when it can get very busy. Well decorated and plays loud music til late.

Amicus Apple was a frequent choice for a working lunch in my office; partly because of the awesome small plates, but more so because of the great drinks choices and atmosphere. It's a hidden gem just off of the hustle of Princes Street, and whilst there are probably cheaper places to eat on a weekday, the wifi and friendly service make it a great place to try. My lunch of choice is always the steak sandwich (cooked to request!) and a glass of whichever red wine is recommended. Definitely recommended!

My friend owns the salon above this lace so I've probably eaten here lots more in the last year than i would have. We came for a friends birthday too recently and had a fine lunch. I love the club sandwich, cheese, yum, bacon, yum, chicken, YUM! I've even tried their lamb burger and enjoyed it. I love the inside decor all low lights and reds. You could be fooled into thinking you were in a boudoir, it's cool and classy. Drinks are fab and everything is reasonably priced. Try it x

If you reserve online you can get 2 for 1 on food. I recommend the duck! They also serve nice but not pricey cocktails. A good place to stop during an afternoon of shopping for a drink and a bite to eat.
