I liked the Marzipan cheesecake a lot, but when I wanted to try the poppy seed he didn't accept my order. "This is not a living room!" he stated and then asked us to leave - though we were 2 out of 3 customers in the place, didn't do anything offensive, didn't talk too loud or disturbed anyone.

I'm sure he'd have more business if he'd be more of a host.

My friend took me there as she's a regular for a couple of years and wanted to give him more business. She already warned me that he's not the friendliest. Already when I entered and looked at him looking at me I knew: "Uh, Oh - he doesn't like me..." I put my bags next to me, he pointed at them. I said "Sorry I spread out so much, let me gather my stuff." "That would be appreciated," his response.

I feel he's got a problem with himself and can afford to kick his customers out. That's ok with me - no offense taken.

Go there just to see if he likes you ;)

Hi CHRIS DOUGHERTY, I was looking for your writing' cause my husband and I were sitting right next to you in the corner next to the window with our sleeping baby on the bank - hearing you wanna write something about this situation you are telling about. 'Cause we know there isn't enough space in this place we use the baby-riser or leave the stroller outside in front of the window. Sorry, but the only person being agressive/rude was the wife wanting to park the stroller in the corner where people receive their take-away and wanna pay. Everyone could see that it's impossible to park anything there. But that special woman didn't accept the no. Why can't I ? Why can't I? Why can't I? - and that for several times in a provocative way. That the mustache was fed up with that after a time is understandable. To stop that all he said at the end - we don't want it. That's all. So please don't tell lies like "he said we can't come in AT ALL because we happen to have a baby".

I'm from the US, have lived in Munich for several years. My wife was pregnant last year and REALLY wanted some cheesecake, so I found this place: tastes great! We went a few times in the Fall of 2016, a woman was working each of those times and she was very nice, cozy feel there. Fast forward a couple months, our baby is here and we happen to be in the area with a few friends on a Sunday afternoon. I suggest getting dessert there because of our previous experiences. Mustache guy is working this time (not sure if he's an owner or not), I open the door and ask if there is space for a stroller since the place is small, and assumed not. One of our German friends chimes in as well. I expected an answer like, "sorry, we don't have enough space for that", or something similar, which was the point of my question. Instead, Mustache is immediately aggressive/rude and says we can't come in AT ALL because we happen to have a baby. Wow! I won't spend another penny there and certainly would never recommend my friends/colleagues giving money to this establishment.

The best cheesecake in town! If you have not tried this, you have not tried anything in Munich !
