Symposium is my favorite place to eat in Guelph. The food is amazing and be sure to ask for Conrad as your waiter ; he is the best waiter I have ever had in my life. Wednesday get Mussels Florentine only 10.95 and so delicious also 33% off apps from 4-6..... I get an extra one mussels dish as take out as well for my husband 😍😘🤩🤗 They literally treat my kids and Mom like royalty each visit!! Xo well done

I went to this place almost a year ago for breakfast and was just reminded of how bad it was and had to write a review. The place has an excellent atmosphere and decor, however the food took FOREVER and was very mediocre. On top of that the portions were pathetic. If I buy a $15 eggs Benedict I expect to have a meal; they gave me like 7 home fries. Everyone else in my group felt the same and were saying they could comfortably eat two of their breakfast orders. We left hungry and wasted over 2.5 hours of our time. Is it to much to ask to for a decent amount of home fries?! Potatoes are insanely cheap.

This is a great place for a meal, dessert or grabbing a drink. The staff are friendly and efficient and the desserts are better than most.

The first time my family came here, we went for breakfast and we all enjoyed everything! I ordered the Belgian waffle (I had chocolate chips added), and my dad had the steak and eggs. I tried some of his food and almost ended up eating all of it because it was so good. Even my dad who can be a tough one to please enjoyed his food. Everything was amazing (food and service) and it left me wanting more. The only thing I I would've liked better is if the waffle was made with chocolate chips inside, not put on the top. Our server was super nice and even let my dad get normal fries instead of home fries, even though it was 10:40 and lunch hadn't started yet. The pricing was surprisingly not bad. We will definitely be back soon to try their lunch or dinner and desserts (they look amazing)!
