Hotel Poseidon

On August I had a family emergency. My sister was on the hospital in Torre del Greco. I stayed at Hotel Posseidon. They are great. I was alone in a very stressful situation and they helped me a lot. They made me feel like home. When my sister left the hospital she stayed with me at the hotel. Reservation Manager is a wonderful guy. He understood our needs for my sister's recovery. I highly recommend the hotel. Is not a Resort but is a good and save place to stay.

Good modern hotel which is clean and well maintained. It is perched on the hill above Torre del Greco port and the restaurant on the 4th floor has great sweeping views of the Bay of Naples and Capri. The staff are very friendly and pleased to help. Torre del Greco town is colourful and the train station further up the hill is a fantastic jump off point to take the Vesuviana around the Bay ti Pompeii, Ercolano, Sorrento and Naples. Great place for kids. Highly recommended.

Nice clean hotel. 5 minutes walk to train station to Napoli, Sorento and Pompeii, with parking

Our room was very spacious and comfortable and we had a beautiful view. The complimentary wine was very welcome as was the €15 voucher for the restaurant. However, on closer inspection the room was definitely not as clean as we would have hoped. The Tvs in the rooms did not tune in properly and no subtitles were available which obviously is not necessary for everyone but would be nice evening entertainment as there is not much to do otherwise, also we found on the whole the staff weren't helpful or co-operative. There were no leaflets or information available for anything, other than a poster with very overpriced tours on so had to find our way anywhere via the Internet. The hotel is located next to a busy main road in a noisy area, The station right next to the hotel is not in use so the nearest one is a good 15 minute walk away and is not signposted at all. The port is a 5 minute walk away and there is one tour available; a 9am trip to capri.

Location provided a nice view. Though the apartment room side was a little odd seemed empty and less frequented. The main building was well decorated and the workers were very friendly
